Important! A new ruling by the Supreme Court CSK 442/17 regarding the recognition of judgments of other countries
On 31.01.2018. The Supreme Court in the matter of determining that the ruling of a foreign state court is subject to recognition, took the position that the foreign state ruling (in this case it was a Danish court judgment), which only the parent was entrusted with the exercise of parental authority over a minor child (including in the case of a Danish citizen), is not subject to recognition on the territory of Poland.
Once again, the Supreme Court recognized that the child’s good is above all legal norms.
